Big-Firm know-how,
Boutique-Firm heart.

Why we exist
Corporate reporting shouldn't feel intimidating.
The rules keep changing, the stakes keep rising, and the people responsible are time-poor and highly accountable. We started W.consulting to give those people a steadier place to stand, clear answers, real experts, and no showmanship.
Two decades on, we advise finance teams and train professionals across three continents. The team has grown; the rule that you deal with the person doing the work has not.
What guides us
What you can expect from us.
You get an answer
- Where a judgement is finely balanced, we tell you where the line sits and why we landed where we did.
You understand the reasoning
- We explain our working, so you can defend it to your board without us in the room.
You keep the capability
- We would rather you handled the next one yourselves than kept calling us.
You speak to the same people
- The person who meets you is the person who does the work.
Why it feels different
Same standards. A very different experience.
Technical work does not have to feel adversarial, or opaque, or like you are being billed for the privilege of asking. Four things we do differently, deliberately.
-
01 You get the person, not the pyramid The specialist who answers is the specialist who does the work. Nothing is handed down to someone you have never met.
-
02 You get the working, not just the answer Every position comes with the reasoning and the references behind it, so it stands up when your auditors push back.
-
03 We tell you when you do not need us If the standard is clear and you have already read it correctly, we will say so. It costs us a fee and buys us the next call.
-
04 We write it in plain language Technical where it has to be, readable everywhere else — including by the people on your board who are not accountants.
Our experts
Named people behind every answer.
You'll always know who you're working with and that they've done this before.
