SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING

Turn the requirement into a reporting process.

Sustainability reporting brings new requirements, new information and often new people into the reporting cycle. We help organisations interpret what applies, work through what needs to be reported and build a practical route from requirement to disclosure.

WHERE ARE YOU NOW?

Start with your reporting situation.

You may be preparing for your first cycle, working through a particular requirement or strengthening a process already under way. Choose the situation closest to yours.

  • This is our first reporting cycle We need to understand what the requirements mean and how to get started.
  • We need to understand what applies to us We need help interpreting the requirements in the context of our organisation.
  • We have started, but the process is not holding together We need to connect the reporting requirements, information and responsibilities into a workable process.
  • We need to prepare for assurance We need the underlying information, controls and supporting documentation to withstand greater scrutiny.
  • We have drafted our disclosures We want an experienced technical review before the reporting is finalised.

SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING

Support from interpretation through to reporting.

New reporting requirements rarely create only a technical question. They affect data, responsibilities, governance, processes and the way information is eventually presented. Our role is to help you understand the requirement in context and turn it into a practical reporting approach.

  • 01 IFRS S1 & S2 Interpretation and practical support with sustainability-related financial disclosures.
  • 02 REPORTING IMPLEMENTATION Helping translate reporting requirements into the information, responsibilities and processes needed to produce the disclosures.
  • 03 ASSURANCE READINESS Preparing the reporting process, supporting information and documentation for increased scrutiny.
  • 04 DISCLOSURE REVIEW Technical review of sustainability reporting before publication.

OUR APPROACH

Make the requirements manageable.

HOW WE WORK

Build the reporting process in workable stages.

  1. Understand where you are

We look at the reporting requirement, the organisation's current position and the work already under way.

  2. Identify what needs to change

We work through the gaps in information, responsibilities, processes or disclosures that need attention.

  3. Move towards reporting

We help turn those requirements into practical actions and support the organisation as the reporting develops.

FIRST REPORTING CYCLE?

You do not have to solve everything at once.

A first reporting cycle can involve unfamiliar requirements, information held across different parts of the organisation and questions that only become visible once drafting begins.

We help break the requirement into manageable pieces, identify what matters first and give the reporting team a clearer route through the cycle.

Common questions

Answers before you ask.

We are preparing for our first sustainability reporting cycle. Where do we start?

Start by understanding what applies, what information you already have and where the biggest gaps are likely to sit. We can help you establish that starting position before deciding what support is needed.

Can you help us with IFRS S1 and S2?

Yes. Sustainability reporting support includes the interpretation and practical application of relevant reporting requirements, including IFRS S1 and S2.

Can you help us report under multiple sustainability frameworks?

Yes. We specialise in the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, which are increasingly serving as the global baseline for sustainability-related financial disclosures. We also help organisations understand and address the requirements of other reporting frameworks, such as ESRS and GRI, leveraging the connections and interoperability between standards to streamline reporting and reduce duplication of effort.

Can you prepare us for assurance?

We can help organisations strengthen the underlying reporting process, information and documentation in preparation for assurance. The scope would be agreed according to the organisation's reporting requirements and current level of readiness.

Can you review disclosures we have already drafted?

Yes. A focused technical review can be appropriate where much of the work has already been completed and you want an experienced independent view before finalisation.
