Working with an advisor

A guide through the problem, never a pitch across the table.

Your advisor starts from the challenge in front of you then maps the right mix of our four kinds of help: expert advice, practical training, career growth and digital solutions. No hard sell. Just a clear route from where you are to where you need to be.

How an engagement works

From a problem to a plan - in one conversation.

You bring the challenge. Your advisor works to understand it, then maps it onto the right combination of advice, training and tools.

  1. A reporting challenge

A new standard, an audit query, a transaction, a stretched team - whatever is in front of you.

  2. Scopes & diagnoses

One call to understand the deadline, the stakes and what “solved” looks like - then a recommendation.

  3. Mapped onto the right mix

Advice - the technical answer, worked and referenced. Training - your team upskilled so it sticks. Tools - a calculator or checklist to make it repeatable.

Book an intro call

Start with a fifteen-minute intro call to establish fit. It is not a technical consultation and not free advice, so nothing confidential needs to change hands.

Requests come to our team, not to an individual's diary. We confirm a time with the right specialist within one business day.

Common questions

Answers before you ask.

How does an advisory engagement usually start?

With a short intro call to establish fit. If we are the right people, you get a scope and a fee before any work begins.

Can you work alongside our auditor?

Yes. We are not your auditor, so we can take a position and set out the reasoning behind it for them to review.

What does it cost?

A fixed fee agreed up front against an agreed scope. No hourly billing and no surprises at the end.

Four kinds of help

One problem. Four ways we can help you move.

Most engagements blend more than one. Your advisor's job is to find the mix that actually solves it not to sell you the biggest one.
